What is DESMOPRESSIN used for?
DESMOPRESSIN Tablets is indicated for the treatment of Central Diabetes Insipidus and Nocturnal Enuresis. For Central Diabetes Insipidus, it manages vasopressin sensitive central diabetes insipidus and controls temporary polyuria and polydipsia following head trauma, hypophysectomy or pituitary region surgery. For Nocturnal Enuresis, it manages patients 5 years and older with normal ability to concentrate urine, to be used with non-medicinal therapy.
