How is it administered?
Diabetes Insipidus: Start 0.1 mg tid, max 1.2 mg/day. Nocturnal Enuresis: Start 0.2 mg 1 hour before bedtime, max 0.6 mg. Adjust based on response. Fluid restriction required for enuresis.

Contraindications
Hypersensitivity; Type IIB or platelet-type von Willebrand disease; hyponatremia; severe liver disease; nephrosis; cardiac/renal insufficiency; CHF; psychogenic polydipsia; sodium-losing states; lactose intolerance.
Warnings and precautions
Risk of water intoxication and hyponatremia; fluid intake must be adjusted. Use caution in coronary artery insufficiency, hypertension, or cystic fibrosis. Not effective for nephrogenic DI.
