How is it administered?
Diabetes Insipidus: Initial 60 mcg TID sublingually; range 120-720 mcg/day. Nocturnal Enuresis: Initial 120 mcg 1 hour before bedtime; titrate up to 360 mcg. Fluid restriction is essential.

Contraindications
Hypersensitivity; Type IIB or platelet-type von Willebrand disease; conditions with impaired water excretion (hyponatremia, heart failure, renal/liver disease); sodium losing states (vomiting, bulimia).

Risk of water intoxication and hyponatremia; fluid intake must be restricted. Use caution in patients with coronary artery insufficiency, hypertension, or cystic fibrosis.
