How is it administered?
Diabetes Insipidus: Start 0.1 mg tid, adjust to response (max 1.2 mg/day). Nocturnal Enuresis: Start 0.2 mg 1 hour before bedtime, increase by 0.2 mg increments every 3 days if needed (max 0.6 mg).

Contraindications
Hypersensitivity; Type IIB or platelet-type von Willebrand disease; impaired water excretion (hyponatremia, severe liver disease, renal insufficiency, heart failure); sodium losing states; lactose intolerance.
Warnings and precautions
Risk of water intoxication and hyponatremia; fluid intake must be adjusted. Use caution in patients with coronary artery insufficiency, hypertension, or cystic fibrosis. Not for renal polyuria.
