How Wholesalers Use a Molecule Supply Graph to Find an Alternative Source
Why a molecule-level supply graph beats a supplier directory when a presentation goes short, what it contains, how to use it in minutes, and where its limits are.
The problem a supply graph solves
When a presentation goes short, the question is not "who has stock" but "who is licensed to make this molecule, in which strength and form, and in which regulated market can it lawfully be bought and exported." Directories answer the first question badly and the second not at all.
What the graph contains
For every active substance Nexara Health tracks, the [molecule supplier pages](/molecule/adalimumab/suppliers) combine:
- every marketing authorization holder holding a registration for the molecule, taken from national registers (Health Canada DPD, FDA NDC Directory, EMA, and the national registers of the EU, UK, Nordic, Gulf, Asia-Pacific and Latin American markets we ingest) [1][2][3];
- the strength and dosage form of each registration, so a same-presentation match is visible immediately;
- published regulator price references where a market publishes them;
- current shortage records in the markets that publish them.
Each row keeps its registry name and registration number so it can be verified against the regulator's own entry.
A worked example
A Canadian DIN goes dormant. The DIN page shows the same molecule registered in 30+ markets. Filter to the same strength and form, then to markets with a published export route (the [import route pages](/import) give the destination-side rule). Choose the market whose MAH is also the Canadian MAH's affiliate where possible — same product, simpler documentation — and request the CoA and export release. The whole search takes minutes instead of days of emails.
What the graph does not do
It does not confirm current stock, price, or that a given MAH will release product for export. It narrows the field to lawful candidates; the commercial step is still a call.
