How is it administered?
Apply one patch daily for 12-14 hours followed by a 10-12 hour patch-free interval. Start at 0.2 mg/hr, increase to 0.4 mg/hr if needed. Max 0.8 mg/hr. Rotate application sites (arm or chest).

Contraindications

Remove before cardioversion/defibrillation/diathermy. Tolerance develops with continuous use; requires nitrate-free interval. May cause hypotension, bradycardia, or aggravate hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
