How is it administered?
Dosage is individualized. HUMALOG should be given within 15 minutes before a meal or shortly after (within 20 minutes of start). Administer by SC injection or SC infusion pump (100 units/mL only).

Contraindications
Contraindicated during episodes of hypoglycemia and in patients sensitive to insulin lispro or any of the excipients.
Warnings and precautions
Hypoglycemia is the most common adverse effect. Humalog 200 units/mL must NOT be used in pumps or mixed. Do not transfer 200 units/mL to a syringe. Use with caution in gastroparesis.
