How is it administered?
Infants 2-12 months: 3 doses (0.5 mL) at 1-month intervals. Children >12 months, adolescents, and adults: single 0.5 mL dose. Administer via deep intramuscular injection.

Contraindications
Known hypersensitivity to any component of the vaccine, including diphtheria toxoid (CRM197), or after previous administration. Postpone in subjects with acute severe febrile illness.
Warnings and precautions
Not for IV, SC, or intradermal use. Does not protect against other serogroups. Risk of apnea in very premature infants. Potential for syncope. Appropriate medical treatment must be available.
