What is SANDOZ CAPECITABINE used for?
Sandoz Capecitabine (capecitabine tablets) is indicated for the adjuvant treatment of patients with stage III (Dukes’ stage C) colon cancer. Sandoz Capecitabine is also indicated for the first-line treatment of patients with metastatic colorectal cancer. Sandoz Capecitabine in combination with oxaliplatin is indicated for the treatment of metastatic colorectal cancer following failure of irinotecan-containing combination chemotherapy. Sandoz Capecitabine is also indicated for the treatment of advanced or metastatic breast cancer after failure of standard therapy including a taxane, unless therapy with a taxane is clinically contraindicated. Sandoz Capecitabine in combination with docetaxel is indicated for the treatment of patients with advanced or metastatic breast cancer after failure of prior anthracycline containing chemotherapy.
