What is KAZANO used for?
KAZANO (alogliptin and metformin hydrochloride tablets) is indicated for use as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adult patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus inadequately controlled on metformin or in patients already being treated with the combination of alogliptin and metformin. Add-on combination: KAZANO is indicated for use as a triple combination therapy in adult patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus to improve glycemic control with: • pioglitazone • insulin when the existing dual therapy with metformin, along with diet and exercise, does not provide adequate glycemic control (see 14 CLINICAL TRIALS).
