How is it administered?
Adults: Initially 75 mg/day in divided doses, usual optimal 150-200 mg/day (max 300 mg). Elderly: Start 12.5-50 mg/day, increase by 25 mg/week to 50-150 mg/day. Bedtime single dosing possible.

Contraindications
Hypersensitivity; concomitant MAOIs (within 2 weeks); narrow angle glaucoma; prostatic hypertrophy; acute recovery phase post-myocardial infarction; acute congestive heart failure.
Warnings and precautions
Risk of arrhythmias, tachycardia, MI, stroke, and sudden death. Caution in cardiovascular disease, hyperthyroidism, and seizure disorders. May impair driving/mental alertness.
