What is JAMP-CANDESARTAN used for?
JAMP - Candesartan (candesartan cilexetil) is indicated for the treatment of mild to moderate essential hypertension. It may be used alone or concomitantly with thiazide diuretics. Also, it is indicated for the treatment of NYHA Class II and III heart failure with ejection fraction ≤ 40% in addition to standard therapy, with or without an ACE inhibitor. In pediatrics (6 to 17 years of age), JAMP - Candesartan is indicated for the treatment of essential hypertension.
