How is it administered?
IM or IV without dilution. GI: 0.1-0.2 mg every 4 hours. Preanesthetic: 0.005 mg/kg IM. Reversal of blockade: 0.2 mg per 1 mg neostigmine or 5 mg pyridostigmine.

Contraindications

Heat prostration can occur in high temperatures. Diarrhea may indicate intestinal obstruction. May produce drowsiness or blurred vision; avoid operating machinery.
