How is it administered?
IM or IV. GI: 0.1-0.2 mg every 4 hours. Preanesthetic: 0.005 mg/kg IM. Intraoperative: 0.1 mg IV (adults). Reversal of blockade: 0.2 mg glycopyrrolate per 1 mg neostigmine or 5 mg pyridostigmine.

Store between 15°C to 30°C. Once punctured, multidose vial is stable for 30 days at room temperature.

Contraindications
Hypersensitivity; children <3 years (due to benzyl alcohol); glaucoma, obstructive uropathy, GI obstruction, paralytic ileus, toxic megacolon, myasthenia gravis, unstable cardiovascular status.

Heat prostration in high temperatures; diarrhea may indicate intestinal obstruction; may produce drowsiness or blurred vision; investigate tachycardia before administration.
