How is it administered?

Single 150 mg dose administered on Day 1 as an infusion over 20-30 minutes, in combination with a 5-HT3 antagonist and dexamethasone. Reduce dexamethasone dose by ~50% on Days 1 and 2.

How is it stored and handled?

Store at 2°C to 8°C (Refrigerate). After reconstitution and dilution, stable for 24 hours at 25°C.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to fosaprepitant, aprepitant, or polysorbate 80. Concurrent use with pimozide, terfenadine, astemizole, or cisapride due to risk of serious CYP3A4-mediated reactions.

Warnings and precautions

Serious hypersensitivity reactions (anaphylaxis/shock). Infusion site reactions (thrombophlebitis, necrosis). Significant drug interactions with CYP3A4 substrates, warfarin, and contraceptives.
