What is CIPROFLOXACIN INTRAVENOUS INFUSION BP used for?
Sandoz Ciprofloxacin (ciprofloxacin hydrochloride tablets) may be indicated for the treatment of patients with respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, chronic bacterial prostatitis, skin and soft tissue infections, bone and joint infections, infectious diarrhea, meningococcal carriers, typhoid fever, and uncomplicated gonorrhea. Ciprofloxacin Intravenous Infusion BP (ciprofloxacin injection) may be indicated for the treatment of patients with respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, skin or skin structure infections, septicemia, bone infections, complicated intra-abdominal infections (in combination with metronidazole), and empiric therapy in febrile neutropenic patients (in combination with piperacillin sodium).
