What is PRIVIGEN used for?
Privigen® (Immunoglobulin Intravenous (Human)) is indicated for: The treatment of patients with primary immune deficiency (PID) and secondary immune deficiency (SID). This includes, but is not limited to, common variable immunodeficiency (CVID), X-linked agammaglobulinemia, congenital agammaglobulinemia, secondary hypogammaglobulinemia, Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome, and severe combined immunodeficiencies. The treatment of patients above the age of 15 with immune thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP) to rapidly raise platelet counts to prevent bleeding. Immunomodulation in adults with chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP).
