What is TARO-CIPROFLOX used for?
TARO-CIPROFLOX (ciprofloxacin tablets USP) may be indicated for the treatment of patients with respiratory tract infections (acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis, acute pneumonia, acute sinusitis), urinary tract infections (complicated and uncomplicated cystitis, pyelonephritis, pyelitis, acute uncomplicated cystitis in females), chronic bacterial prostatitis, skin and soft tissue infections, bone and joint infections, infectious diarrhea (when antibacterial therapy is indicated), meningococcal carriers, and typhoid fever (enteric fever). It is also indicated for uncomplicated gonorrhea (cervical/urethral/rectal/pharyngeal infections).
