How is it administered?
Recommended starting dose: 60 mg once daily in the morning. May increase to 120 mg. Titrate with 30 mg for 2-4 days to minimize headache. Swallow whole or halved; do not chew/crush.

Contraindications

Not established for acute MI or CHF. Abrupt withdrawal may aggravate angina; reduce dose gradually. Caution in severe cerebral arteriosclerosis, severe hypotension, or arterial hypoxemia.
