Adults: 750 mg to 1.5 g every 8 hours IV or IM. Meningitis: 3 g IV every 8 hours. Infants/Children: 30-100 mg/kg/day in 3-4 divided doses. Neonates: 30-100 mg/kg/day in 2-3 divided doses.

Contraindications
Contraindicated in patients with Type 1 hypersensitivity to cefuroxime or the cephalosporin group of antibiotics.
Warnings and precautions
