What is CLINDAMYCIN INJECTION, USP used for?
Clindamycin Injection, USP is indicated for the treatment of serious infections due to susceptible anaerobic bacteria and susceptible strains of gram-positive aerobic bacteria, as well as for Chlamydia trachomatis infections when other antibiotics are not suitable. It is used for lower respiratory, skin and skin structure, gynecological, intra-abdominal, septicemia, bone and joint infections, and Pneumocystis jiroveci pneumonia in AIDS patients.
