Hypersensitivity to ioxitalamate acid salts; severe oliguria or anuria; history of major skin reactions; suspected broncho-esophageal fistula or aspiration risk; manifest thyrotoxicosis.

Warnings and precautions

Do not inject. Risk of life-threatening hypersensitivity/anaphylaxis. Increased absorption if GI mucosa is altered. May induce thyroid dysfunction. Ensure resuscitation equipment is available.
