What is TEVA-PRAZOSIN used for?

How is it administered?
Starting dose 0.5 mg. Increase gradually to 1 mg b.i.d. or t.i.d. for 3 days. Max daily dose 20 mg. Administer with food, preferably with evening meal.

Warnings and precautions
May cause syncope and excessive hypotension with sudden loss of consciousness (0.8% incidence). Risk of priapism (rare). Caution with initial dose and dosage increases.
