What is CYTOXAN TAB 50MG used for?
CYTOXAN is indicated for frequently responsive myeloproliferative and lymphoproliferative disorders including malignant lymphomas (Hodgkin's disease, mixed-cell type lymphoma, lymphocytic lymphoma, histiocytic lymphoma, lymphoblastic lymphosarcoma, Burkitt's lymphoma), multiple myeloma, and leukemias (chronic lymphocytic leukemia, chronic granulocytic leukemia, acute myelogenous and monocytic leukemia, acute lymphoblastic (stem-cell) leukemia in children, mycosis fungoides (advanced disease). It is also indicated for frequently responsive solid malignancies such as neuroblastoma (in patients with disseminated disease), adenocarcinoma of the ovary, and retinoblastoma, as well as infrequently responsive malignancies including carcinoma of the breast and malignant neoplasms of the lung.
