How is it administered?
Adults: 20-40 mg once daily depending on indication. H. pylori: 20 mg BID with antibiotics for 7 days. Zollinger-Ellison: 40 mg BID initially. Pediatrics (1-17): Dose based on weight/age.

Warnings and precautions
Exclude malignancy if alarm symptoms present. Risk of Clostridium difficile-associated diarrhea, hypomagnesemia, and bone fractures with long-term use. Avoid use with clopidogrel.
