What is WEZLANA used for?
WEZLANA (ustekinumab) is indicated for the treatment of chronic moderate to severe plaque psoriasis in adult patients who are candidates for phototherapy or systemic therapy, and in pediatric patients (6-17 years of age) who are inadequately controlled by, or are intolerant to, other systemic therapies or phototherapies. WEZLANA is also indicated for the treatment of adult patients with active psoriatic arthritis, alone or in combination with methotrexate (MTX). WEZLANA / WEZLANA I.V. is indicated for the treatment of adult patients with moderately to severely active Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis who have had an inadequate response, loss of response to, or were intolerant to either immunomodulators or one or more tumour necrosis factor-alpha (TNFα) antagonists, or have had an inadequate response, intolerance or demonstrated dependence on corticosteroids; or who have had an inadequate response with, lost response to, or were intolerant to either conventional therapy or a biologic or have medical contraindications to such therapies.

How is it stored and handled?
If necessary, the diluted infusion solution may be stored at room temperature. The infusion should be completed within 8 hours of the dilution in the infusion bag. Do not freeze.
