What is VORANIGO?
VORANIGO 10 MG contains VORASIDENIB : 10 MG. It is listed in the Health Canada Drug Product Database under DIN 02551225, held by SERVIER CANADA INC, supplied as TABLET for ORAL administration. Health Canada currently lists it as marketed, status dated 21-Oct-2024. Nexara Health is a licensed Canadian wholesale distributor (DEL 3-002896-A) and can source this product for hospitals, pharmacies and clinics. Availability and lead time are confirmed per order.
What is VORANIGO used for?
VORANIGO (vorasidenib tablets) is indicated for the treatment of Grade 2 astrocytoma or oligodendroglioma with a susceptible isocitrate dehydrogenase-1 (IDH1) mutation or isocitrate dehydrogenase-2 (IDH2) mutation in adults and pediatric patients aged 12 years and older following surgical intervention. Treatment with VORANIGO should be initiated following confirmation of an IDH1 or IDH2 mutation through a validated test.
Authorized indication as written in the Health Canada product monograph. For healthcare professionals and licensed purchasers; this is not medical advice.
How much does Vorasidenib cost around the world?
Vorasidenib is listed on 2 of the national price registers Nexara ingests. Each country publishes on a different basis, so figures are not comparable with one another — or with a Canadian wholesale price.
What a market publishes matters more than the number it publishes. Australia publishes a ex-manufacturer; Saudi Arabia publishes a public. Comparing an ex-factory ceiling against a pharmacy public price tells you nothing about either, and comparing either against a Canadian landed cost tells you less.
| Market | Price basis published there | Brands | Packs listed |
|---|---|---|---|
| Australia | ex-manufacturer | 1 | 2 |
| Saudi Arabia | public | 1 | 2 |
4 pack listings across 2 brand entries and 2 price bases, refreshed 08 Sep 2026. Ranges span every Vorasidenib pack in that market, so a high figure is usually a larger pack rather than the same product.
Canada publishes no comparable public list price. For a delivered Canadian price on a licensed account, verify your licence — it takes about a minute.
Is there a generic Vorasidenib in Canada, and who makes it?
Every market authorization holder with a Canadian DIN for this molecule, and how many of their listings Health Canada currently shows as marketed.
Only one market authorization holder has a Canadian DIN containing Vorasidenib — 2 DINs, of which 2 are currently marketed. There is no second Canadian source today, so a supply interruption on this holder has no domestic substitute at the same molecule.

Health Canada’s Drug Product Database does not flag which listing is the originator and which are subsequent-entry products, so Nexara does not label them here. Interchangeability is determined provincially, not federally — confirm for your province before a formulary switch. Nexara can confirm which of these is actually obtainable, and on what lead time, per order.
How is it supplied and stored?
Pack configuration, storage class and the handling constraints that drive cold-chain planning. One DIN can cover more than one pack size, and the pack — not the DIN — is what gets priced, shipped and invoiced.

Before an order line is unambiguous Nexara needs the strength, the pack size and the presentation.

How is it administered?
The recommended dosage of VORANIGO in adults and pediatric patients 12 years and older: • For patients weighing at least 40 kg, take 40 mg orally once daily. • For patients weighing less than 40 kg, take 20 mg orally once daily. Dose interruption or dose reduction may be required based on individual safety and tolerability. The recommended dose reduction levels are provided in Table 1. The tablets should be taken once daily at about the same time each day. Patients should not eat food at least 2 hours before and 1 hour after taking VORANIGO. The tablets are to be swallowed whole with a glass of water and should not be split, crushed or chewed to ensure the full dose is administered. If a dose is missed by less than 6 hours, take the missed dose as soon as possible. If a dose is missed by more than 6 hours, skip the missed dose, and take the next dose at the usual time. If a dose is vomited, a replacement dose should not be taken. The dose should be taken as usual the following day.
Included because it drives pack selection and wastage. Consult the monograph.
Contraindications
VORANIGO is contraindicated in patients with: • Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any ingredient in the formulation, including any non-medicinal ingredient, or component of the container.
Warnings and precautions
Monitor liver laboratory tests (ALT, AST, GGT, total bilirubin and alkaline phosphatase) prior to the start of VORANIGO, every 2 weeks during the first 2 months of treatment, then once monthly for the first 2 years, and as clinically indicated thereafter, with more frequent testing in patients who develop transaminase elevations. Weekly monitoring for ALT or AST elevations ≤3 times the ULN is recommended. Withhold, reduce dose or permanently discontinue VORANIGO based on the severity of the liver laboratory test abnormalities. Patients with pre-existing severe hepatic impairment (Child-Pugh Class C) may be treated with VORANIGO only after careful risk/benefit assessment and should be closely monitored. The use of VORANIGO has not been evaluated in patients with pre-existing severe hepatic impairment. The pharmacokinetics and safety of vorasidenib have not been studied in patients with renal impairment (CLcr ≤40 mL/min) or renal impairment requiring dialysis. VORANIGO should be used with caution in these patients. VORANIGO could cause fetal harm when administered to a pregnant woman. Pregnancy testing is recommended in women of childbearing potential prior to starting treatment with VORANIGO. Women of childbearing potential should use effective non-hormonal contraception during treatment with VORANIGO and for at least 3 months after the last dose. Advise male patients with female partners of reproductive potential to use effective barrier contraception during treatment with VORANIGO and for at least 3 months after the last dose. Breast-feeding should be discontinued during treatment with VORANIGO and for at least 2 months after the last dose.

Ordering questions
Who can buy this from Nexara?
Licensed entities only. Nexara holds Health Canada establishment licence DEL 3-002896-A and ships only to a licensed address. Patients and unlicensed buyers are routed to a partner pharmacy.
Is there a minimum order?
Yes, set per product line and per pack multiple rather than on the order total, so you are never asked to buy a part-pack. The minimum for this line is confirmed with your quote.
What is the lead time?
Confirmed per order at quotation, and it depends on current stock position and whether the product is in shortage.
Why is there no price on this page?
Nexara quotes a delivered Canadian price per order, against a verified licence. Foreign list prices are published on incompatible bases and are not a guide to what any buyer can obtain here, so this page shows which markets list the molecule and on what basis, and nothing more.
Can Nexara supply this for a clinical trial?
Yes — comparator and background-therapy supply, including sourcing from other markets where a Canadian pack will not satisfy the protocol. Clinical trial supply.
