What is NOYADA used for?
Noyada (captopril) oral solution is indicated for the treatment of essential or renovascular hypertension, usually administered with other drugs, particularly thiazide diuretics. It is also indicated for the treatment of congestive heart failure as concomitant therapy with a diuretic and other drugs, to improve survival and reduce hospitalizations for heart failure following myocardial infarction in clinically stable patients with left ventricular dysfunction, and for the treatment of diabetic nephropathy (proteinuria ≥ 500 mg/day) in patients with type I insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus and retinopathy.
