What is METHOFILL SELF-DOSE INJECTOR used for?
Methofill Self-Dose Injector (methotrexate injection) is indicated as a Disease Modifying Antirheumatic Drug (DMARD) in severe disabling psoriasis/psoriatic arthritis in adult patients and severe disabling rheumatoid arthritis (RA) in adult patients where standard therapeutic interventions fail. In the treatment of psoriasis, it should be restricted to severe recalcitrant, disabling psoriasis, which is not adequately responsive to other forms of therapy, and only after dermatologic consultation. Methofill Self-Dose Injector is not indicated for the treatment of neoplastic diseases.
