What is ACT PIOGLITAZONE used for?
Teva-Pioglitazone (pioglitazone hydrochloride) is indicated as monotherapy in patients not controlled by diet and exercise alone, to decrease blood glucose levels in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (non-insulin dependent diabetes mellitus, NIDDM).
