How is it stored and handled?
The infusion solutions, when packaged in low-density polyethylene (LDPE) or polyvinyl chloride (PVC) containers, are physically and chemically stable for up to 28 days at controlled room temperature (15 to 30 °C) or at refrigerated temperatures (2 to 8 °C), if protected from light. If stored at room temperature (15 to 30 °C) but exposed to light, the infusion solutions are physically and chemically stable for 72 hours (3 days). Freezing Irinotecan Hydrochloride Injection USP and admixtures of Irinotecan Hydrochloride Injection USP may result in precipitation of the drug and should be avoided.
