Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to alfuzosin; moderate to severe hepatic insufficiency; combination with other alpha1-blockers; combination with potent CYP3A4 inhibitors (e.g., ketoconazole, ritonavir).
Warnings and precautions
Rule out prostatic carcinoma before therapy. Risk of postural hypotension/syncope, especially at start. Caution in patients with QTc prolongation or coronary insufficiency. Risk of IFIS in surgery.
