Oral: 100 mg q.i.d. 1 hour before meals (max 600 mg/day). IV: 0.142 mg/kg/min infused over 4 minutes (max 60 mg). Dilute at least 1:2 with Dextrose 5%.

Hypersensitivity to dipyridamole or any ingredient. Intravenous administration is not recommended in states of shock or collapse.

IV use: Risk of fatal/non-fatal MI, arrhythmias, stroke. Caution in hypotension, CAD, unstable angina, or bronchospasm. Aminophylline should be available to reverse IV effects.
