What is ESTALIS SEQUI used for?
ESTALIS (NETA/estradiol-17ß) and ESTALIS-SEQUI (estradiol-17ß and NETA/estradiol-17ß) are indicated for the relief of menopausal and postmenopausal symptoms occurring in naturally or surgically induced estrogen deficiency states e.g. hot flushes, sleep disturbances and vulvar and vaginal atrophy. Contraindications
Estrogen-dependent neoplasia (breast/endometrial cancer); pregnancy; breast-feeding; endometrial hyperplasia; undiagnosed vaginal bleeding; porphyria; arterial/venous thromboembolic disease.
Warnings and precautions
Increased risk of MI, stroke, invasive breast cancer, and VTE. Not for cardiovascular disease prevention. Risk of endometrial cancer, gallbladder disease, and dementia (in women >65).
