Adults: Rectal 5-10mg 3-4x daily. IM: 5-10mg 2-3x daily (max 40mg). IV Infusion: 20mg/L. Children (>2yrs/9kg): 0.13mg/kg IM. Use lowest effective dose.

Contraindications
Circulatory collapse, comatose states, drug intoxication, severe depression, blood dyscrasias, liver disease, renal insufficiency, pheochromocytoma, severe cardiovascular disorders, children in surgery.
