How is it administered?

Apply small amount to conjunctival sac 3-4 times daily and 1-2 times at night. Reduce dose gradually in chronic conditions; do not discontinue prematurely. Re-evaluate if no improvement after 2 days.

Store at 15° to 25°C. Protect from freezing and light. Store in an upright position. Discard if solution turns dark brown.

Contraindications

Herpes simplex keratitis, vaccinia, varicella, viral diseases of cornea/conjunctiva; mycobacterial/fungal eye infections; hypersensitivity to sulfonamides, corticosteroids, or any component.

Warnings and precautions

May mask/enhance infection; extended use may increase IOP (glaucoma) or cause cataracts. Risk of Stevens-Johnson syndrome. May retard corneal healing. Do not use >10 days without supervision.
