How is it administered?
Adults (≥12 yrs): 1-2 tabs (30 mg) or 1 tab (60 mg) every 4-6 hours as needed. Max 12 tabs/day (30 mg) or 6 tabs/day (60 mg). Use lowest effective dose for shortest duration.

Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to acetaminophen/codeine; asthma; respiratory depression; GI obstruction; severe hepatic impairment; MAOIs (within 14 days); pregnancy/labour; children under 12 years.

Risk of severe hepatotoxicity with overdose. Codeine is habit-forming. Risk of respiratory depression. Ultra-rapid metabolizers (CYP2D6) risk morphine overdose. May impair mental/physical abilities.
