Contraindications
Complicated MI, severe CHF, cardiogenic shock, severe hypotension, 2nd/3rd degree A-V block, sick sinus syndrome, marked bradycardia, hypersensitivity, AF/flutter with accessory bypass tract.
Warnings and precautions
Negative inotropic effect may cause heart failure; slows A-V conduction; causes dose-related suppression of S-A node; caution in hepatic/renal impairment; monitor liver enzymes.
